Computer is a good tool to connect with other people. It is also a good way to know everything in the world. During the past few years, the most famous function in the internet has been the skype system. It's a vital system, nowadays.

The Skype system is like a phone through which you can hear the voice transmit messages. Wherever you are wherever you live, if both parties have a computer, then they can have communica and more easily more cheapier.

A day~

I went to church with my friends who are from Korea. I joined in prayer and read a poem; I also joined in the song servicces. The church service was so different to me. I felt impressed by the service. I didn't understand what it meant because they used the Korean Language. The meeting was for Korean people on that day; of course, I couldn't understand.

After we had soome typical foods from Korea, we were chatting and were eating together which was so lovely. Even though I am not Korean, I can feel the atmosphere just like a family.

Same Culture

Korean culture is almost the same as Chinese(Taiwanese) culture. Rice and Noodles are the main course for Korean; for Taiwanese it is the same.

Chinese used to have a Lunar Calendar New Year and Korean the same. When I joined the Korean meeting in church, I found they ate similar food like us which suprised me. We ususally eat rice cake during the Lunar Calendar New Year. Korean is the same as us, just use a different way to cook it.

Chinese New Year

It was the first time I stayed in another country by myself during the "Chinese New Year". This felt so different than other years. Because of the traditional day, our Taiwanese Students Association In Martin had a meeting to celebrate the day in a Jackson Restaurant. We clustered in front of the University Center and went together.

Jackson's Restaurant is bigger than UTM'S Chinese Restaurant. And they offered a varity of food especially "New Year Food" that you only see on that day:"rice cake,steam fish and soup with red bean. When I entered the restaurant, I felt the atmosphere so closed and similar in my country. I felt so excited.

Tornado

才一個鐘頭，就聽到防空演習的警報聲，沒多久就突然聽到廣播所有的人請到一樓來因為'Tornado"，本以為在一樓的我應該是沒事的，沒想到沒多久卻發現一位女士要我們撤離至別處~~???不會吧，都一樓了還要撤到哪兒去呀?轉身一看原來大家都窩在同一個角落，就像是我們的防空演習一樣。外頭的風很大，沒出去還真不知道～才出去一會兒，回頭就變成瘋婆子，才買的傘卻不堪一吹，居然還有聽不懂英文的人要hitch hike，呵，真是危險，

美國真是個充滿法制和新奇的國家~
